The downward facing heart and the crown of fluff.

Readings from Psalm 7 and George MacDonald's Diary of an Old Soul: September 6th.

The downward facing heart must contend with fallen Earth’s brutal scavengers and Heavens downcast host. It’s a fight that can’t be won with a gaze turned down from the son. God grant me my work and my food and perhaps most importantly, if it speaks of the direction of my hearts gaze, my mood. And God bless you reader. Look now! There’s a squirrel on your bird feeder! Just kidding Ethel! Cheers to all!

Drifting Pinions
O world invisible, we view thee,
O world intangible, we touch thee,
O world unknowable, we know thee,
Inapprehensible, we clutch thee!
